So…here’s my highlight hotel story of this week.
A few days ago, one of my agents approached me with this hilarious story that occured with one of our hotel guests…so hilarious that it deserved sharing.
Well, i guess the time was about 11:45 pm and… Well let me just get to the point.
A hotel guest decided to put two cold slices of pizza in the safe inside the guestroom thinking that it was a microwave. Guest put in a code and waited, waited, waited, and waited. Guest then called to the front desk to let us know our “microwave” is not working. Half an hour later, Security showed up to try to open the “microwave” because the guest didn’t remember the lock code that they just set up for the safe. lol omg smh.
The worst part about this is that the poor guy’s pizza is still cold a whole hour later.
The joys of a pet-friendly hotels.
We had to kick this lady out cause her dog was obnoxiously loud. While she was signing papers, the dog pooped in the lobby.
Seriously? So glad that they left. And that I have a well-behaved dog.

The numbers are finally in! The Six-Week turned Eight-Week Weight Loss Challenge has come to an end. This picture depicts the top three participants. First, second, and third respectively. The winner of $500, Cliff (far left), started at 218 and finished at 186.5…lost a total of 31.5 pounds. That is nearly a total of 15 percent body fat. Adey (middle) started at 158.5, and finished at 139.5 Almost twelve percent of fat lost. Paul (far right) started at 230.5 and finished at 204. Down a total of 26.5 pounds. Nearly 12 percent lost as well. Overall, this was the best investment I’ve made this year. The real challenge starts now. It’s all about keeping the weight off and continue with the newfound healthy habits. Wish us luck.
Week 6ix came around with plenty of good news. Weighed in yesterday at 208. That’s -22.5. Only 7.5 to go for my ultimate goal and I have two whole weeks to get there. I know i can do it. I know I can do it. Oh yeah, this entire week, all coworkers were stopping me and asking “are you losing weight? Have you been working out?? You’re looking a little slim in that suit!!” That’s all good news and I hope they keep on coming.
Also, good some good news at work this week so I enjoyed a few shots of vodka one night and some whiskey the other. That’s in addition to my cheat day.
This week, i plan on being more strict to the low carb diet. Also plan on going harder on the cardio workouts. I will be in Chicago for about four days next week so I have to make sure I get as close as possible this week.
I need to start doing abdominal workouts.
Imma keep this one very short. As of 10am today, I am only 10.5 pounds away from my ultimate goal…and I’ve got three weeks to shed them. Let the work continue.
