The book “Go the Fuck to Sleep”
Narrated by Samuel L. JacksonBefore you fall asleep tonight, just listen to this
Just imagine Nick Fury reading this to Thor so he can fall asleep
I always reblog this on principle but the Avengers context puts a whole new spin on things

When someone enters the lobby, comes up to the desk, and tries to check-in only to realize that they’re at the wrong hotel…
THEN yells at me like it’s my fault they went to the wrong place.

Get on outta here with that noise.
So…this crazy thing happened at work this week…
Gentleman came to check into the hotel…hotel is nearly sold out…only upgraded suites and smoking rooms remaining. Gentleman gets upgraded to a penthouse suit out of “courtesy.” Gentleman then calls down immediately to indicate how furious that he is because his room is entirely too big. It’s not what he paid for. O__o.
So, week three of the weight loss challenge was very interesting. You can almost tell that some of the guys are starting to give up. The trash talking has slowed down tremendously and i’m hearing more of let’s go to such and such restaurant for happy hour and stuff. Perhaps it’s a way to put me off guard? hmmm
Anyway…i’m down to 217 pounds as of yesterday. That’s -4.5 (passed the goal for the week) since the last weigh in…and that’s a total of -13.5 since the challenge started. *pats self on the back*
I’m still continuing with the veggie/protein nutrition routine. I must say though, this week was a total fail because it was supposed to be more protein than veggies, but it was more of a fifty/fifty.
I’m keeping a log of the temptations that has come my way since day one of the challenge…it’s crazy how they’ve been so consistent since day one. crazy!!
The goal for this week is to maintain the nutrition routine while consuming more protein meats than veggies. I am expecting to drop another three pounds. Wish me luck.
217.
Week two came quick and the good news kept on coming. Weighed myself midweek and noticed that I had already lost the 5 pounds that I wanted to. I was down to 218.5lbs.
This week tho, i’ve moved from an only meant diet to meat and veggies. I’ve also added milk, yogurt, and sweat tea to the routine. I also starting jogging around my neighborhood and found the perfect app to help keep time and challenge me to make better timing each time i run the route.
Well, today I weighed myself again for the official weigh in, and i added back three pounds. Not to worry tho, it was after a heavy breakfast and a heavy lunch.
Goal for the upcoming week is to lose an additional found pounds.
221.5
"Forgiveness is the most powerful thing that you can do for your physiology and your spirituality, and it remains one of the least attractive things to us, largely because our egos rule so unequivocally. To forgive is somehow associated with saying that it is all right, that we accept the evil deed. But this is not forgiveness. Forgiveness means that you fill yourself with love and you radiate that love outward and refuse to hang onto the venom or hatred that was engendered by the behaviors that caused the wounds.” Wayne Dyer"

Dear Obnoxious Asshole,
Congrats on picking up a hooker last night, while clearly flashing around that gold band on your left hand. Having you in my lobby, telling your “brah” that she had a hot mouth and a “tight cunt” are exactly what one expects to hear at 7:30am in a four star hotel. Also, I…
Officially thirty days left into my Corporate Management Training program with Hyatt. The past four months just flew right on by. Since Jan. 15 i’ve been in L.A. going thru my rotation, meeting a whole lot of people, doing a whole bunch of stuff in a whole bunch of places.
Now, it’s time to focus and fine tune everything that i’ve been doing to prepare for the next stage…whatever it may be. I just pray for the best. Stay tuned.
Well folks, week one of the weight loss challenge went exceptionally well. I have lost a total of 7 pounds in just seven days. This is all from a couple days in the gym doing my cardio exercises, sticking to the low-carb options, and taking the stairs instead of the elevators while at work.
The plan for week two will be to stick to the previously mentioned routines while adding more days in the gym and diversifying the low-carb options.
The goal is to shed an additional 5 pounds.
Wish me luck.
Found out yesterday that I’ve lost a total of five pounds so far. I love it. Craving all kinds of things though. Gotta stay strong.
